Police officers of the elite unit Reaction Police Group (GRP) use an arrested university student as a human shield in front of the main entrance of the National University during clashes with the students 05 July 2006 in San Salvador. Two police officers were killed Wednesday and 10 others injured during an armed standoff with students protesting rising bus ticket prices near the capital's El Salvador University, Salvadoran police said.
